Claim your discount to the Embrace Life Festival at Penrith is on this Sunday!

At this new festival you can see me perform with hoops on stage and try it out for yourself.

Get there early to join me on the main stage at 10:45 am. This is where I will invite people of all ages to come up and learn some basic hoop moves. If you have children bring them along! The majority of children love it and pick it up very quickly too.

Later at 12:15 pm join me at the Om Cafe for more gentle and creative hoop moves. This is the quiet area and I recommend it for teens and adults. You will be surprised at how good it feels.

Check out the program below for all the other performances and workshops available on the day.

There will be a wonderful atmosphere with so many lovely performers and healing practitioners in the one place.

I am able to offer a 50% DISCOUNT to the entry price if you email me ritsahoops@gmail.com

Hula hoop circus parties are popular with tweens!

The children will love their hula hoop party favour! You can buy cheap ones from department stores or order strong, handmade hoops by your local hoop maker or performer.

There are so many hoop games that can be played!

1. Crawling through a tunnel of hoops (as in the above picture)
2. Musical hoops which is like musical chairs.
3. Hoop races (rolling the hoop the furthest or hooping and running at the same time)
4. Hoop guess - children take turns either by themselves or with friends where they create a shape and the others guess what it symbolises.

Some glitter designs are a nice change from face painting especially for tweens who are a bit older.

Make random patterns or animals like this free handed elephant blowing water below

From the left we have a portable speaker; water tattoos; spinning plates; face paint and hula hoops in various sizes. The larger and heavier they are, the easier it is to learn!

Here is the birthday girl with her custom made hula hoop by me!

If you live in Sydney or close by, I can make your child's birthday party a hooptacular event!

Also, I can bring plenty of hoops in my hoop truck.

How to be a clown and love it!

1. Enjoy playing with kids and have lots of energy!

I think she is going to get me with that sword!

2. Dress colourful and exciting!
I can't decide, stripes or spots, why not both!

3. Get some good quality face paint and learn from the online tutorials.
She knows what to do!

4. Learn some balloon twisting from the online tutorials.
What is orange and tall?

5. Have a portable speaker and get some party tunes. You also need it to play games like musical statues.
See my speaker on the ground?

6. Remember that when some kids are cheeky, to give them 3 warnings then a time out. Overall this is far better than any corporate job I had! Yipee!
My clown mentor gave me this handmade ruffle and a lot of great tips!

I am based in Sydney and will travel to surrounding areas.  Feel free to ask me any questions. Keep smiling from Ritza the Clown!

Most little girls want a Frozen party!

Especially 5 year old girls have been the most popular birthday party I have been performing at.

I have found a way to create snow on the spot which is a great party trick.  It looks like I am adding water to salt and then we wave our hands over it until presto, we have Elsa Snow!

We play Frozen themed games like Anna, Anna, Elsa and musical Freeze!

Let it go!

Let me know if you need any ideas for your Frozen party.
